Becoming a Councillor
There are 17 town and parish councils across Wokingham borough. The number of councillors required to sit on a parish council depends on the size of the parish and is determined by the borough council. Swallowfield Parish Council has nine councillors.
Anyone applying to become a parish councillor must live or work in, or within three miles of, the Parish boundary.
